         Atlantic Accord briefing postponed again

Amherst –  There will be another week of waiting to learn about the details of the new Atlantic Accord deal, says Cumberland Colchester Musquodoboit Valley M.P., Bill Casey.

      Bill Casey was notified at 5:25pm Atlantic time Friday that the briefing of the Atlantic Accord arrangement that was scheduled for November 13, 2007 has been cancelled again. The briefing on the legislation has been rescheduled to November 20, 2007.

      Casey was also advised that the legislation to implement the October 10, 2007 agreement will be tabled during the week of November 12, 2007.

      "This continual delay just creates more confusion to a subject that is already vague because of an absence of a signed agreement. In the meantime, no one can accurately assess this new deal", Casey said.
